betta contest: Mark

I was on my way to first place, hands down but then my female jumped out of the tank a couple of days ago.
I am now back at square one. A second set of fish have been ordered and should be here on Friday.

The bettas have arrived. I have made a plastic cover for the tank so I will not have any fish jumping ship this time. The female is big. I have never seen a female that big in the pet shops. I will be honest and tell you I never knew the females would get as big as the males.
I plan on letting them observe each other untilMonday and then dropthem in the same tank together.
My kid is home so I will see if she can help me with pictures when she gets up.
