I would like for all those participating to weigh in on the rules, and also start a new thread like I did to show personal progress!

Also I will be breeding several pairs so should it be based on number of clutches for the top pair or altogether?

I have a spare crowntail female that is of breeding age if someone would like to borrow her!

Well my female betta jumped ship. I put the lovely couple together and to my surprise when I looked for the couple today only the male was in the tank. I am still looking for the female.

Mark I have an older red/blue combtail female if you need her. She bred earlier this year, then the male died. Also make sure to cover the top, I use a glass lid or plastic wrap. It helps the male build his nest and keeps them from fish suicide. Give the female something to hide in, a bunch of plants, a small cave or rocks, so if she isn't ready she can escape.
